Susan Brunstrum is founder of sweetpeasdesign, inc., where she exercises her considerable talent for  creative design and problem solving. Clients value her willingness to embrace all styles, listen to their needs and bring something exciting to their project that they couldn’t have imagined. For each client she personally ensures that their project is finished in a timely, seamless manner.

Susan has built her 8-year-old firm on repeat business and referrals, including clients who have been on board since day one. A lifelong resident of Chicago’s northern suburbs, she loves the challenge of tailoring each project to the client. “I am thrilled when they say they absolutely love being in their space, that it reflects them.”

Communication is one of her strengths, informing her client-driven approach. Susan carved out a successful career in advertising and marketing communications before redirecting her creative energy into design, tapping into her undergraduate studies in drawing, design and art history. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from University of Illinois and a Master of Science in Journalism/Advertising from Northwestern University.
